Octarange Technologies Revolutionizes EV Fleet Batteries with Liquid-Cooled Fast-Charging Solutions

Founded in May 2022 by Siddhesh Gosavi and Gaurav Rane, Pune-based Octarange Technologies is redefining the future of electric vehicle (EV) battery systems. Specializing in fleet battery solutions, Octarange has developed proprietary battery technology that charges within 20 minutes and supports delivery rides of 50–60 km. A key innovation lies in their liquid-based thermal management system, addressing heat dissipation challenges that plague traditional batteries in India’s high-temperature conditions.
Before launching Octarange, the co-founders operated a design and manufacturing services company focused on the EV segment, where they identified significant gaps in battery performance, safety, and infrastructure. Their transition into product development resulted in a suite of innovations, including modular liquid-cooled battery architecture, miniaturized heat exchangers, and stackable module designs with advanced protection circuits.
Their intellectual property portfolio includes four utility patents in battery mechanics, electronics, and thermal systems. They’re also pioneering a fusion-bonded cold plate manufacturing process, set to be commercialized through a licensing model.
