Ola Electric Launches HyperDelivery for Same-Day EV Registration and Delivery

Ola Electric has unveiled HyperDelivery, a first-of-its-kind initiative in India’s EV space that enables same-day registration and delivery of electric scooters. The service, which is currently being piloted in Bangalore, will be gradually scaled nationwide this quarter.

With HyperDelivery, customers can now purchase their vehicles either online or at an Ola Electric Store and ride home within hours—on a fully registered vehicle. This innovative delivery model significantly enhances the customer experience by eliminating traditional delays in registration and logistics.

The key to this transformation lies in Ola Electric’s strategic adoption of AI-led automation and the in-house handling of vehicle registration. This move has allowed the company to drastically reduce processing times and cut out middlemen, streamlining what is typically a tedious and time-consuming process in the Indian automotive industry.

A spokesperson for Ola Electric highlighted, “We have significantly cut the processing time of registering vehicles through AI-led automation and by moving the registration process completely in-house… With this, we are ensuring a much smoother purchase experience, eliminating tedious purchase processes and longer delivery timelines.”
