POWERGRID and Engineers India Limited (EIL) Sign MoU for Energy Transition Projects

POWERGRID and Engineers India Limited (EIL) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on several key projects in the field of offshore wind energy, green hydrogen, energy storage, data centers, and more. The MoU was signed in the presence of senior officials, including Shri R. K. Tyagi, CMD of POWERGRID, and Ms. Vartika Shukla, CMD of EIL.

This collaboration aims to create a strong framework for accelerating India’s energy transition, focusing on innovative solutions in green hydrogen, tidal energy, offshore wind, rooftop solar, and water and wastewater management. Both organizations are committed to driving sustainable energy practices and advancing the development of these critical technologies.

The partnership will help both companies work closely on projects that align with India’s broader energy transition goals, especially in renewable energy and sustainability sectors, to meet future energy demands while reducing environmental impact.
