Premier Energies Posts Robust FY25 Earnings with 110% Revenue Surge and Expands Solar Manufacturing Plans

Premier Energies reported an impressive 110% year-over-year (YoY) increase in revenue for FY25, reaching Rs6,652 crore in FY24. The company's EBITDA jumped 273% to Rs1,780 crore . Earnings per share (EPS) also rose sharply to Rs21.35.

For Q4 FY25 alone, revenue stood at Rs1,680 crore. Net profit reached Rs277 crore, up 167% YoY.

As of March 31, 2025, Premier Energies had a strong order book of 5,303 MW worth Rs8,445 crore, with 73% of it for modules and 27% for cells. The company currently has 2 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity, with an additional 6.4 GW expected by June 2026 and 1.6 GW more by FY28. Module capacity stands at 5.1 GW, with 6 GW under development to go online by March 2026.

Additionally, Premier Energies is expanding vertically with a 2 GW wafer facility set to start by June 2026 and scaling up to 8 GW by FY28. It also plans to build 10 GW of ingot manufacturing capacity by FY28, marking a strong move toward vertical integration in solar manufacturing.

The company’s Rs2,830 crore IPO in August last year was oversubscribed 74 times, reflecting strong investor confidence.
