Rajasthan Floats Tender for DPRs on 31.6 GW Solar Parks Across Six Locations

Sept 05, 2025

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RVUNL) has invited bids to prepare feasibility-cum-detailed project reports (DPRs) for developing 31.6 GW of solar parks across six sites in the state. Selected consultants will conduct topographic and geotechnical studies, techno-commercial viability assessments, layout optimization, and risk analysis to ensure bankability of the projects.

Bidders must demonstrate prior DPR consultancy experience for at least 500 MW of renewable capacity (including one project of 200 MW) in the last seven years, possess licensed energy estimation software, and maintain skilled manpower across engineering, regulatory, and financial domains. Minimum eligibility requires an annual turnover of Rs7.2 million with a positive net worth. Proposals are due September 8, 2025, with opening on September 9. The initiative builds on RVUNL’s earlier plan to design land banks for 34 GW of solar parks announced in July.
