Rajasthan Implements 150 Units Free Electricity Scheme

The Rajasthan Energy Department has issued guidelines for implementing 150 units per month of free electricity for already registered residential consumers under the Mukhya Mantri Nishulak Bijli Yojana. The scheme aligns with the central government’s PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana, leveraging rooftop solar installations to provide cost-free electricity.
This initiative follows the state budget announcement for FY 2025-26, aiming to support households by reducing electricity costs while promoting solar adoption.
