Redington Partners with Websol to Launch Subsidy-Backed Residential Rooftop Solar Kits

Redington Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Websol Energy System Limited (WESL) to roll out residential rooftop solar kits across India, aiming to boost affordable and accessible solar adoption. The initiative offers bundled kits ranging from 2 kW to 10 kW, integrating Websol’s modules, inverters, and balance-of-system (BoS) components. Customers can benefit from central subsidies of up to Rs 78,000 along with additional state-level incentives, significantly reducing upfront costs.

Designed for households and small businesses, the kits combine convenience, quality, and affordability, making rooftop solar a viable energy solution. According to Pradeep Srikanthan, Vice President of Redington Solar, this collaboration is set to empower consumers to harness renewable energy effectively while aligning with India’s sustainability goals and vision of energy self-reliance.
