REIL Floats INR 170.7 Cr Tender for 30 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Rajasthan

Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd. (REIL) has issued a tender for the development of 30 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic projects on state government and state undertaking buildings in Rajasthan. The projects are distributed as 25 MW in Jodhpur and 5 MW in Pali. Bidders must provide comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 25 years.

The tender, valued at Rs170.70 crore, sets a minimum bid capacity of 5 MW per district. Interested bidders must pay a document fee of Rs5,000 and submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs8.7 lakh/MW. The last date for bid submission is June 17, 2025, with techno-commercial bids scheduled for opening on June 18, 2025.

To qualify, bidders must have commissioned at least one grid-connected solar PV plant of 5 kWp or higher and have cumulatively commissioned grid-connected plants totaling at least 10% of the quoted capacity in the past seven years. Financial eligibility criteria include a minimum net worth of Rs60 lakh/MW (as per audited accounts no older than two years) and a minimum average annual turnover (MAAT) of Rs1 crore/MW over the last three years. This initiative supports Rajasthan's ongoing efforts to accelerate rooftop solar adoption on government properties.
