SECI Invites Bids for 260 MW of ALMM-Compliant Solar Modules for Dhar Project in Madhya Pradesh

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued a tender for the supply of 260 MW of domestically manufactured solar modules to be delivered to a project site in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The last date for bid submission and opening is May 20, 2025. Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs5.6 crore and provide a contract performance security of 10% of the project cost for a period of 27 months.
The tender covers manufacturing, testing, packing, supply, and transportation of the modules. Freight charges must be quoted based on actual distance. The module supply window is 12 months, and bidders must supply modules ranging from 234 MWp to 286 MWp, along with spare parts amounting to 0.5% of the awarded capacity.
Only ALMM-listed, Class I local suppliers with a minimum manufacturing capacity of 390 MW/year and a financial turnover of Rs224 crore over the past three years are eligible. Modules must be monocrystalline (monofacial or bifacial) or thin film cadmium telluride. A 25-year performance warranty and a 10-year product warranty are mandatory, along with an insurance policy covering at least 6% of total cost for 25 years. The project also includes a 12-month defect liability period.
