Serentica Invites EoIs for 5 GW Solar Projects in Rajasthan, Seeks 20,000 Acres

Serentica Renewables has issued a call for Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from land aggregators and renewable energy park facilitators to support the development of 5,000 MW of solar power capacity in Rajasthan. The company is targeting the acquisition or lease of approximately 20,000 acres of land to support this large-scale solar initiative. Interested entities must demonstrate capability in land aggregation and infrastructure development, including connectivity to central and state transmission networks. The deadline for EoI submission is July 18, 2025.

This land initiative follows Serentica’s recent financial milestone—closing its second external commercial borrowing deal in June 2025. The company secured over $100 million in debt financing from Rabobank and Société Générale to fund a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan, signaling its growing momentum in India’s renewable sector. The 5 GW project aligns with Serentica’s broader ambition to accelerate industrial decarbonization and develop green energy clusters.
