Serentica to Supply 75 MW Hybrid Renewable Energy to INOX Air Products

May 06, 2025

Serentica Renewables has signed a Power Supply and Consumption Agreement with INOX Air Products (INOXAP) to deliver 75 MW of hybrid renewable energy. The power will be supplied via an Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected project, supporting INOXAP's efforts to decarbonize its operations across four facilities in India.

The partnership is a significant move toward industrial decarbonization, aligning with INOX Air Products’ broader net-zero ambitions. Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica, emphasized the strategic importance of the agreement, stating it showcases a shared vision for sustainable industrial growth. Sk Jena from INOX Air highlighted the collaboration's alignment with their sustainability goals, expressing confidence in achieving substantial emissions reductions through the project.

The hybrid nature of the project—likely involving a mix of solar and wind power—will ensure consistent clean energy supply, helping INOXAP reduce its dependence on fossil fuels. This deal marks another milestone in Serentica’s mission to decarbonize hard-to-abate industrial sectors in India by enabling large-scale renewable energy adoption.

As more industrial players commit to net-zero pathways, such partnerships between energy providers and high-consumption manufacturers are expected to grow, reinforcing the role of renewable energy in India’s industrial transformation.
