Servotech Renewable Power System Secures 2.58 MW Rooftop Solar Project from South Eastern Railway
Oct 14, 2025
Servotech Renewable Power System has announced that it has won a 2.58 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project from the South Eastern Railway’s Ranchi Division.
Under the agreement, the company will handle the complete execution of the solar photovoltaic (PV) project — including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar panels of varying capacities across multiple sites within the Ranchi Division.
Commenting on the project, Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power System, said,
“We are honoured to once again collaborate with the Indian Railways in its mission to build a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. This project is a testament to the continued trust that Indian Railways has placed in Servotech’s expertise and ability to deliver reliable renewable energy solutions.”
Bhatia further highlighted that the company would deploy advanced, high-efficiency solar technologies to help South Eastern Railway achieve its sustainability and decarbonization goals. “This initiative not only supports the Railways’ transition to green energy but also sets a benchmark for clean energy adoption in India’s transport sector,” she added.
The project aligns with Indian Railways’ broader vision to achieve net-zero carbon emissions, underscoring its commitment to large-scale renewable energy adoption and environmental stewardship.
