Shakti Pumps’ Solar Pump Orders in Maharashtra Cross Rs616 Crore under PM-KUSUM

Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd. has achieved another milestone under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana and Component B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The second tranche of 12,451 off-grid solar pumps made available through the MSEDCL portal has been fully booked by farmers across Maharashtra. This tranche is valued at around Rs347.41 crore.
Earlier, in the first tranche launched last month, 10,000 solar pumps were booked within just 1.5 hours, with a value of Rs268.88 crore. Combined, the two tranches account for 22,451 solar pumps, worth a total of Rs616.30 crore. This is part of Shakti Pumps’ larger commitment of 34,720 solar pumps under its empanelment with MSEDCL.
Chairman Dinesh Patidar highlighted that Shakti Pumps’ strong presence in Maharashtra and proven execution capabilities will ensure timely delivery. He emphasized the company’s commitment to providing sustainable, energy-efficient water solutions that support farmers and boost agricultural productivity.
On the financial front, Shakti Pumps posted an 83.6% revenue growth in FY25 to Rs25,162 million, supported by both domestic and export sales. Its Profit After Tax (PAT) also rose significantly to Rs4,084 million in FY25, compared to Rs1,417 million in FY24.
