Sigenergy Tops Out Smart Manufacturing Hub in Nantong, China

Sigenergy has reached a major milestone in its global expansion by completing the topping-out of its Smart Manufacturing Hub in Nantong, Jiangsu, China. The hub, launched earlier this year, is moving closer to production and will become one of Sigenergy’s core global production bases. It will support the large-scale manufacturing of inverters, residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) energy storage systems, and energy gateways.

With an investment of USD 70 million, the facility spans 7.67 hectares and is designed as a next-generation smart factory. It will feature advanced production workshops, R&D and design centres, warehouses, and modern office infrastructure. Once operational, the hub is expected to produce over 300,000 units annually, providing robust supply capacity to meet rising global demand for clean energy solutions.

The Nantong hub incorporates intelligent, digitalised systems with a closed-loop framework ensuring full lifecycle quality traceability across the supply chain, logistics, and production. This design sets a benchmark in digital manufacturing and guarantees transparency, traceability, and efficiency at every stage.

Sigenergy continues to scale up capacity while driving product innovation, offering solutions such as the world’s first 5-in-1 solar-storage-charging system (SigenStor), advanced C&I solar-storage systems, and hybrid inverters for residential users.
