Simple Energy Partners with Amazon and Flipkart to Launch Online Sales of Electric Scooters
Oct 19, 2025
In a move to make electric mobility more accessible, Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer Simple Energy has joined hands with Amazon India and Flipkart to sell its electric scooters online. The company’s popular models — the Simple One Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS — are now available for booking on both e-commerce platforms, marking the brand’s entry into the digital retail space.
The collaboration aligns with the festive shopping season, offering customers attractive discounts and special purchase benefits. During Amazon India’s Great Indian Festival (valid till October 20, 2025), buyers can save up to Rs 16,434 on select models based on their payment mode. Meanwhile, Flipkart’s Big Bang Diwali Sale (till October 24, 2025) features a flat Rs 7,500 discount on the Simple One and Rs 5,000 off on the Simple OneS, along with additional perks for SBI and Axis Bank cardholders and a 12-month no-cost EMI option.
“Diwali represents new beginnings and progress, which aligns perfectly with our mission to make electric mobility more inclusive,” said Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy. “Partnering with Amazon India and Flipkart allows us to reach customers across the country, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, while providing a seamless, tech-driven buying experience.”
At present, Simple Energy operates 57 retail outlets across major cities including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Kochi, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam. The company plans to further expand its network by adding 150 new showrooms and 200 service centers nationwide by FY 2026.
The Simple One Gen 1.5, known as India’s longest-range electric scooter, offers an impressive 248 km IDC range, 0–40 km/h acceleration in just 2.77 seconds, and 30 liters of under-seat storage. It also includes smart features such as navigation, app connectivity, OTA updates, regenerative braking, TPMS, and USB charging, with prices starting at Rs 1,71,944 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
The Simple OneS delivers a 181 km IDC range, 105 km/h top speed, and 0–40 km/h in 2.55 seconds, powered by a 3.7 kWh battery and 8.5 kW motor. It comes equipped with four ride modes, a 7-inch touchscreen, 5G e-SIM, Bluetooth connectivity, and enhanced safety features, priced from Rs 1,54,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
Customers can now conveniently book their preferred Simple Energy scooters on Amazon India or Flipkart to take advantage of these limited-time festive offers.
