Singareni Collieries Floats EPC Tender for 15 MW Rooftop Solar Projects Across Telangana

The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of rooftop solar projects totaling 15 MW capacity across various residential colonies and office buildings in Telangana. The bid submission deadline is August 25, 2025, with openings scheduled for the same day. An earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs8.4 million is required, and the successful bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee for the entire capacity.

The rooftop capacity will be distributed across eight SCCL locations, including 1,995 kW in Kothagudem, 2,000 kW in the Kothagudem Corporate Area, 2,730 kW in Manuguru, 760 kW in RG-1, 2,800 kW in RG-II, 230 kW in RG-III, 530 kW in Srirampur, and 3,955 kW in Bhoopalpalli. The project must be completed within 120 days from the issuance of the Letter of Intent or Purchase Order.

The scope includes design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and 10 years of operation and maintenance. Bidders must conduct mandatory site visits and submit proof. A minimum daily generation of 3.75 kWh/kW is required, and penalties apply for underperformance, calculated based on the pooled power cost as declared by the Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Eligibility criteria include prior experience in commissioning at least 4.5 MW of grid-connected solar capacity between FY 2018–19 and 2024–25, along with a minimum of five 50 kW or ten 25 kW rooftop solar projects, each with at least six months of operation. Financial requirements include an average annual turnover of Rs270 million.

All modules must be ALMM-listed, minimum 540 Wp Mono PERC or TOPCon, and BIS-certified.
