Singareni Collieries Issues Two Tenders for 11.3 MW Solar Projects

Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has floated two tenders to develop 11,300 kW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects, along with 10 years of operation and maintenance services. The deadline for bid submission is October 8, 2025.

Tender 1 covers 9,800 kW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar across SCCL’s vacant sites, with a work order value of Rs540 million. Bidders must submit an EMD of Rs5.4 million and have executed at least 2,900 kW of grid-connected solar capacity in the past seven years, including five projects of at least 300 kW each. They must also show an average annual turnover of Rs176.4 million over the last three years, positive net worth, and working capital of at least Rs117.6 million.

Tender 2 focuses on 1,500 kW of rooftop solar across residential, office, and guest houses within the Singareni Thermal Power Plant premises, valued at Rs84 million. Bidders must provide an EMD of Rs840,000, and demonstrate experience of 450 kW of solar capacity over seven years, including five projects of at least 10 kW each. They must also meet financial criteria: turnover of Rs27 million, positive net worth, and working capital of Rs18 million.

Earlier in August, SCCL had also invited bids for 15 MW rooftop solar projects in Telangana.
