SJVN Floats Tender for 2.378 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Arunachal Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana
Jun 20, 2025
SJVN has issued a tender to install 2.378 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across various sites in Arunachal Pradesh under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Bids are to be submitted by July 9, 2025, with the same-day opening. Bidders are required to provide an earnest money deposit of Rs1,100/kW and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs5,900. A performance bank guarantee of Rs2,750/kW is also mandated for successful bidders.
The project scope includes site surveys, feasibility reports, civil works, installation, testing, and commissioning. Selected bidders must use modules listed under ALMM List I and ensure a capital utilization factor of 12.5% throughout the 25-year project lifecycle, along with obtaining grid connectivity approvals.
The tender requires 25 years of operation and maintenance services. While SJVN-empaneled vendors are exempt from eligibility checks, other bidders must have commissioned at least 500 kW of rooftop/floating solar projects in the past seven years, including one project of at least 100 kW. They must also demonstrate an average annual turnover of Rs16,500/kW for the quoted capacity over the last three years.
This tender follows SJVN’s recent initiatives to develop 10.59 MW of rooftop solar projects across India’s government buildings.
