SJVN Green Energy Invites Bids for 1.35 GW Solar Projects Under MSKVY 2.0.

SJVN Green Energy, a subsidiary of SJVN, has announced an invitation for bids to develop 1.35 GW (1,352 MW) of solar projects across 102 sites in Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krishi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0. The last date for bid submissions is January 16, 2025, and the bids will be opened on the same day. The Bid Processing Fee is Rs 1.5 million and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is Rs 1.27 million /MW. Bidders must submit their proposals by January 16, 2025.
The solar projects will be located in four districts:
- Pune: 154 MW (9 locations)
- Nashik: 304 MW (22 locations)
- Ahmednagar: 315 MW (19 locations)
- Solapur: 579 MW (52 locations)
The projects will use solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and can employ crystalline silicon or thin-film modules, with or without trackers. Only commercially established and operational technologies are permitted to minimize risk. The solar PV modules used must be listed in MNRE’s List-I under the Approved Models and Manufacturers of Solar Photovoltaic Modules.
These projects are part of the state’s initiative to enhance solar energy capacity and support agricultural needs through the MSKVY 2.0 program.
