Jul 03, 2025
SJVN Green Energy Ltd. (SGEL) has issued an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) tender for 951 MW of solar projects across Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY), aligned with PM-KUSUM Component C. The initiative targets agricultural feeder solarisation, with the aim of reducing diesel dependency and boosting rural energy resilience.
The tender covers 74 solar plants across districts like Solapur (579 MW), Ahmednagar (315 MW), Nashik (304 MW), and Pune (154 MW), divided into eight clusters ranging from 107 MW to 154 MW. Bidders may apply for individual clusters or the full capacity.
Developers are responsible for land acquisition (except two pre-leased sites), design, installation, grid connectivity, and a three-year O&M period. Eligibility requires experience in executing at least 30 MWp of solar projects, including one 10 MWp operational for three months. Financial requirements include an average turnover of ?1.68 crore per MW over the last three years and a positive net worth.
Modules must comply with India’s ALMM, and joint ventures are permitted with a majority lead partner. Techno-commercial bids are due July 22, 2025, with evaluations and possible reverse auction on the same day. The project is expected to benefit farmers through reliable solar irrigation power and contribute to national clean energy goals.
