SJVN Green Energy Retenders 733 MW Solar Projects under MSKVY 2.0 in Maharashtra
Sept 06, 2025
SJVN Green Energy Ltd. (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN Ltd., has floated a tender for 733 MW of solar capacity in Maharashtra under the Mukhya Mantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, part of the PM-KUSUM Component C scheme. The projects, covering 61 sites across Groups 3 to 8, are being retendered after remaining unsubscribed in a previous 951 MW bid round. The tender includes three years of comprehensive O&M.
SGEL has already secured 1,352 MW of solar projects in Maharashtra through competitive bidding across Pune, Nashik, Ahmednagar, and Solapur, with PPAs signed with MSEDCL ensuring offtake. The current tender will follow an open e-bidding process with a Single Stage Two-Envelope system and e-Reverse Auction.
Developers must arrange project land, though SGEL has secured leases for parts of Nashik and Solapur. Projects will connect through 33/11 kV substations to supply daytime power to farmers. Modules must come from the MNRE ALMM list, adhering to Make in India rules.
Eligibility requires at least 30 MW of EPC/development experience (including one 10 MW+ project operational for three months), and financials showing an average turnover of INR 1.68 crore/MW over three years with positive net worth. Joint ventures (up to two partners) are allowed, with the lead holding over 50% equity. An EMD of INR 11.2 lakh/MW applies.
Tender documents are available from September 5–18, 2025. The pre-bid meeting is on September 10, and bids close September 19 with e-Reverse Auction to follow.
