Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Secures Rs4.15 Billion EPC Contract for 300 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

Sept 13, 2025

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has received a letter of intent (LOI) from a private independent power producer to execute the balance of system (BoS) package for a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan, valued at around Rs4.15 billion. The contract also includes setting up a 220/33 kV substation and providing operation and maintenance (O&M) services.

SWREL has reported gross order inflows of over Rs24 billion so far this year, strengthening its position as a global EPC leader in renewables. The company’s portfolio includes 22.8 GW of commissioned and under-construction projects spanning utility-scale solar, floating solar, hybrid, and energy storage systems, along with a managed O&M portfolio of 9.3 GW.

In recent wins, SWREL bagged NTPC Renewable Energy’s 245 MW EPC project in Khavda Renewable Energy Park, Gujarat, in August 2025, with three years of O&M responsibilities. Its financial performance has also seen a sharp rise, with Q1 FY26 revenue jumping 93% YoY to Rs17.62 billion, driven by accelerated EPC execution across markets.
