Sterlite Electric Secures Rs1,500 Crore Orders in Q1 FY’26

Sterlite Electric Ltd. has recorded a strong start to FY’26, securing orders worth ?1,500 crore in Q1, driven by rising demand for its advanced conductors, power cables, and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) solutions in domestic and international markets. The order book spans critical infrastructure segments, including high-performance conductors for green energy corridors, advanced medium and high-voltage power cables, Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (MVCC), and OPGW for digital-ready grids.
The company has also secured contracts for reconductoring and uprating existing transmission systems from leading state utilities. Its export momentum remains robust, with consistent shipments to markets across LATAM, SAARC, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
CEO Reshu Madan attributed the strong performance to increasing demand for advanced transmission solutions, underscoring Sterlite Electric’s role in supporting India’s energy transition and global decarbonisation goals.
Sterlite Electric operates four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, with an annual production capacity of 150,000 metric tons for conductors and 3,000 km for power cables.
