Jul 09, 2025

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), which serves around 9 million people in North Delhi, has partnered with the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) to nurture a skilled and future-ready workforce for the evolving power and energy sector. The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Praveen Agrawal of Tata Power-DDL and Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode.

The partnership will focus on developing and delivering targeted capability-building programs, executive education, and applied research initiatives tailored to the specific needs of the power distribution sector. It also includes provisions for national and international consultancy projects, industry-academia workshops, and immersive study tours.

This strategic collaboration aims to bridge the skill gap in the power sector by aligning academic training with industry needs and fostering innovation and leadership. Tata Power-DDL and IIM Kozhikode intend to contribute significantly to the Indian and global energy workforce transformation through this joint initiative.
