Tata Power's Q3 FY25 PAT Grows 10% YoY, Renewable Business Expands

Tata Power reported a Rs1188 Cr profit after tax (PAT) in Q3 FY 2025, marking a 10% YoY increase. Its renewable business PAT surged 59% YoY to Rs214 Cr. The company's revenue grew by 2% to Rs15118 Cr while EBITDA rose 7% to Rs3481 Cr.

Key Highlights:

  • Rooftop solar revenue: Up 15% to Rs509 Cr.
  • Manufacturing unit revenue: Exceeded Rs1300 Cr.
  • EPS: Stood at Rs3.22 YoY.

For the first nine months (9M) of FY 2025, Tata Power's PAT rose 7% to Rs3469 Cr, with renewable business PAT up 41% YoY to Rs787 Cr. Revenue increased 4% to Rs47174 Cr, and rooftop business revenue jumped 22% YoY.

Operational achievements include:

  • Total operational capacity of 25.6 GW, with 16.8 GW from renewables.
  • 70% renewable energy target by 2030.
  • 4.9 GW solar cell & module manufacturing capacity.
  • 126 MW floating solar at Omkareshwar, 431 MW solar at Neemuch commissioned.
  • 5 GW renewable energy partnership with Bhutan’s Druk Green Power.
  • 1,20,000+ home EV chargers installed.
