Tata Technologies and Emerson Partner to Accelerate Testing Solutions for EVs and Autonomous Mobility

Tata Technologies and Emerson have formed a strategic partnership to develop integrated testing and validation solutions for global OEMs in the automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle sectors. The collaboration combines Tata Technologies’ expertise in systems engineering and mobility platforms with Emerson’s advanced software-connected test and measurement tools. The aim is to enable intelligent, automated, and cost-efficient validation of software-defined, electric, and autonomous vehicles.

The partnership is expected to streamline development cycles, lower costs, and enhance competitiveness in delivering next-generation mobility products. Notably, a pilot project with a European luxury OEM led to the creation of EV powertrain test rigs in five months—a 67% reduction in timeline compared to the typical 15-month period. Another initiative with a premium European brand saw over 30,000 test scenarios executed for an infotainment head-up display unit, significantly accelerating validation.

Nachiket Paranjpe of Tata Technologies emphasized the partnership’s role in helping OEMs deliver smarter, more connected, and sustainable mobility solutions. Emerson India’s Shitendra Bhattacharya highlighted the synergy between both companies to offer end-to-end solutions addressing complexity in today’s transportation ecosystem. The collaboration marks a step forward in supporting the rapid evolution of electric and autonomous mobility.
