Terra Motors Expands in India with Kyoro Electric Three-Wheeler Launch in Hyderabad

Japanese EV manufacturer Terra Motors has expanded its presence in India with the launch of its Kyoro electric three-wheeler in Hyderabad, Telangana. Priced at Rs3.65 lakh (on-road), the Kyoro offers a 200 km range, 55 km/h top speed, and an IP67-rated motor, designed for Indian driving conditions.

Powered by an 11.7 kWh battery and a 2-speed gearbox, the e-auto offers 22% gradeability, making it efficient on hilly terrains. It fully charges in four hours and comes with low operating costs, a five-year warranty, and zero down payment financing, enhancing its appeal for urban drivers and fleet owners.

Terra Motors’ expansion aligns with Telangana’s EV policy, which provides 100% road tax and registration fee exemptions for EVs until December 2026. The state has already recorded over 2.59 lakh EV registrations, including 20,000 new e-auto permits in Hyderabad alone.

Managing Director Go Suzuki emphasized that Kyoro is built to support Telangana’s green mobility goals and offers exclusive dealership opportunities for early partners. With proven vehicle performance, government incentives, and a growing EV market, Terra Motors aims to strengthen its footprint across India, Southeast Asia, and Pakistan, building on its success in Indonesia, Japan, and Thailand.
