Vikram Solar Breaks Ground on 3 GW Gangaikondan Manufacturing Facility

Vikram Solar has officially launched its Gangaikondan manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu with a Foundation Stone-Laying Ceremony led by Thiru M K Stalin, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Dr. T R B Rajaa, Minister for Industries, and Vikram Solar's CMD, Gyanesh Chaudhary, along with Chairman Emeritus, Shri Hari Krishna Chaudhary.
The Gangaikondan facility marks a significant milestone in Vikram Solar’s manufacturing expansion plans. Under the Phase-I project, it will establish 3 GW of solar cell and 3 GW of module manufacturing capacity. As part of Phase-II, the module manufacturing capacity will be expanded to 6 GW, reinforcing the company's commitment to advancing solar energy production and contributing to India’s renewable energy goals.
