Vikram Solar Secures 336 MW Solar Module Order from L&T for Khavda Solar Park
Sept 10, 2025
Vikram Solar has bagged a significant order from L&T Construction for the supply of 336 MW of high-efficiency solar modules to be deployed at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat. The company will supply its advanced Hypersol G12R modules, which are built on n-type technology and designed for enhanced efficiency in challenging environments.
The modules come with a bifaciality factor of up to 80%, allowing higher energy generation by capturing sunlight on both sides. They are engineered to perform well under high-temperature conditions and ensure long-term durability with a minimal annual degradation rate of just 0.4%.
This order strengthens Vikram Solar’s growing presence in large-scale renewable energy projects. The company has been steadily expanding its supply footprint, having earlier secured a 250 MW order from Bondada Group in Maharashtra in August 2025, and a 326.625 MW order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for the Khavda renewable energy park in May 2025.
With these successive contracts, Vikram Solar is positioning itself as a key domestic solar module supplier contributing to India’s ambitious renewable energy targets.
