Waaree Renewable Secures Rs114 Cr Solar Project Under MSKVY 2.0

Waaree Renewable Technologies has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for a 94 MW AC (131.6 MW DC) solar project under Maharashtra’s Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0). The Rs114.23 crore turnkey contract encompasses the engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and operations & maintenance (O&M) of the solar power plant.
The project has been awarded by a renewable generation company and is slated for completion in the financial year 2025–26. This initiative aligns with the MSKVY 2.0 scheme's objectives to promote solar energy for agricultural use by enabling farmers to access sustainable and cost-effective power. The addition further strengthens Waaree’s presence in the decentralized solar market and reflects growing momentum in state-led solar initiatives.
