Waaree Solar Inks 599 MW US Supply Deal, Expands Manufacturing in Texas

Waaree Solar Americas Inc., the US arm of Waaree Energies Limited, has signed a major 599 MW solar module supply agreement with a leading US-based independent power producer. The modules will be manufactured at Waaree’s advanced Brookshire, Texas facility and are slated for delivery in 2026. This agreement marks a significant milestone in Waaree’s U.S. expansion strategy, underlining its commitment to strengthening the American clean energy ecosystem with locally produced, high-performance modules.

Sunil Rathi, President of Waaree Solar Americas, emphasized the strategic role of the Brookshire plant in supporting U.S. energy transition goals while contributing to job creation and supply chain security. With over 1.2 GW of new orders secured in Q1 FY25-26, Waaree is benefiting from growing demand driven by data center expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and industrial electrification.

To meet this increasing demand, Waaree is adding 1.6 GW of new module manufacturing capacity at Brookshire, doubling its total U.S. capacity to 3.2 GW by the end of 2025. The move reaffirms Waaree's commitment to scalable, locally aligned solar solutions for the utility-scale and commercial & industrial segments.
