Windergy India 2025 Set to Showcase Global Wind Power Innovations in Chennai

Oct 18, 2025

The 7th edition of Windergy India 2025, India’s premier international trade fair and conference dedicated to the wind energy sector, will take place from October 29–31, 2025, at the Chennai Trade Centre. The event aims to bring together global stakeholders to explore innovations, policies, and investment opportunities driving the nation’s wind energy transformation.

Organized by the Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers’ Association (IWTMA) and supported by the Ministry of Power, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), and NITI Aayog, Windergy India 2025 will feature over 350 exhibitors and attract more than 15,000 visitors from 20+ countries. Leading wind energy nations such as Denmark, Germany, and Spain will host dedicated pavilions, further enriching international collaboration.

Inauguration and Key Sessions
The event’s inaugural session will be graced by Shri Pralhad Joshi, Cabinet Minister for New and Renewable Energy, and Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Union Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy.

The conference, themed “Wind Power: Policies and Partnerships Towards Aatmanirbharta,” will run alongside the exhibition on October 29 and 30, featuring high-level panel discussions, roundtables, and expert sessions.

Key sessions include:
• Tulsi R. Tanti Memorial Lecture on “The Road to Energy Self-Sufficiency and Net Zero: The Strategic Role of Wind.”
