Zelestra Contracts Suzlon for 381 MW Wind Power as Part of Multi-Technology Push

Aug 04, 2025

Zelestra has signed a significant wind power contract with Suzlon to develop 381 MW of wind energy capacity in India. This partnership is a key step in Zelestra’s broader strategy to provide integrated, multi-technology solutions to its customers. The project will also support the company’s ambitious renewable expansion plans in the country.

In 2025, Zelestra is targeting the construction of 480 MW of wind, 1,450 MW of solar, and 150 MWh of battery energy storage capacity across India. The company has already made progress on its clean energy roadmap, having started commercial operations at the Gorbea solar plant in Rajasthan earlier in July 2025. The new agreement with Suzlon highlights Zelestra’s continued commitment to scaling up its clean energy footprint through a mix of technologies.
