Zenergize Secures $2 Million Seed Funding to Boost EV Charging and Solar Tech
May 20, 2025
Gurugram-based EV charger manufacturer Zenergize has raised $2 million (approximately Rs17 crore) in a seed funding round led by Delhivery co-founder Mohit Tandon and Aspiring Minds founder Himanshu Aggarwal. The funding will be used to accelerate the production of indigenous EV fast chargers and solar inverters, while also expanding the startup’s R&D, sales, servicing, and production teams.
This investment aligns with India’s growing push to scale EV infrastructure, supported by the Rs10,900 crore PM E-DRIVE scheme, which has earmarked Rs2,000 crore for EV charging stations and battery swapping facilities across airports, highways, railways, and ports.
Zenergize’s CTO Veer Karan Goyal emphasized the company's commitment to advanced power electronics R&D, while CEO Navneet Daga highlighted their strategy to build a robust service and support network for national expansion. The startup's focus on ‘Made in India’ technology positions it well in the country’s evolving clean mobility ecosystem.
