Jun 29, 2026
New Delhi: Hero Future Energies (HFE), the renewable energy business of the Hero Group, has inaugurated its new corporate headquarters at Worldmark 6, Aerocity, New Delhi, marking a significant milestone in the company's long-term expansion strategy. The new office is designed to strengthen HFE's operational capabilities, foster innovation, and support its rapidly growing renewable energy business across India and international markets.
The newly established headquarters brings together employees from multiple business functions under one roof, creating a collaborative and technology-driven workplace aimed at improving operational efficiency and accelerating decision-making. Spread across three units, the facility has been planned to accommodate the company's expanding workforce while supporting its growing portfolio of integrated clean energy solutions for industrial, commercial and utility-scale customers.
A key feature of the new office is its advanced digital infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art command centre that enables real-time monitoring of renewable energy assets. The headquarters also includes smart meeting spaces, flexible collaboration zones, a customer experience centre, and dedicated innovation hubs designed to encourage cross-functional teamwork and stronger engagement with partners and clients.
The company stated that sustainability has been a central consideration in the building's design, with environmentally responsible materials, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable workplace practices incorporated to reduce its overall environmental impact.
Hero Future Energies currently manages a renewable energy portfolio exceeding 7.2 GW across India, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and Vietnam, reflecting its growing international presence. The company has also witnessed an average workforce growth of around 40% over the past two years, highlighting its continued business expansion.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Munjal, Founder and Chairman of Hero Future Energies, said the new headquarters represents the company's vision for its next phase of growth as it expands into emerging clean energy technologies and global markets. He noted that the facility has been developed to encourage innovation, collaboration and sustainable thinking while enabling teams to deliver advanced energy solutions for customers worldwide.
Over the past few years, Hero Future Energies has diversified beyond conventional solar and wind power by investing in hybrid renewable energy projects, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), green hydrogen initiatives, and Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) solutions. These technologies are becoming increasingly important as power systems integrate larger shares of renewable energy while maintaining grid stability and ensuring reliable electricity supply.
Commenting on the development, Srivatsan Iyer, Global Chief Executive Officer of Hero Future Energies, said the new headquarters will serve as a strategic centre for the company's operations across multiple geographies and business segments. He added that bringing together talent, technology and innovation under one roof will help accelerate growth, improve collaboration and strengthen HFE's ability to deliver clean energy solutions at scale.
The Aerocity headquarters is expected to play a key role in supporting Hero Future Energies' future expansion plans, including growth across engineering, technology, project development and corporate functions. As demand for renewable energy, energy storage and decarbonisation solutions continues to rise globally, the company aims to further strengthen its position as an integrated clean energy provider serving both domestic and international markets.
