INOXAP Signs Long-Term UHP Nitrogen Supply Deal for ReNew’s TOPCON Cell Facility in Dholera

INOX Air Products (INOXAP), a leading provider of industrial and specialty gases, has entered into a long-term agreement with ReNew Photovoltaics to supply ultra-high-purity (UHP) nitrogen for its upcoming TOPCON solar cell manufacturing plant in Dholera, Gujarat.

To support the partnership, INOXAP will establish a new state-of-the-art Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Dholera, designed to deliver continuous nitrogen output that meets the stringent purity levels required for advanced solar cell production. The unit is expected to be operational by the end of next year.

Commenting on the collaboration, Diganta Sarma, Head of Business Development and Strategy at INOXAP, said the agreement underscores the company’s commitment to India’s renewable and advanced manufacturing goals. He added that the upcoming ASU reflects INOXAP’s confidence in India’s growing role as a global hub for sustainable technologies.

The Dholera project represents a major boost to India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem. INOXAP already supports ReNew’s PERC cell facility with electronic gases such as nitrous oxide, ammonia, and silane, and its expanded role is expected to enhance operational performance at ReNew’s new TOPCON line.
