Waaree’s Subsidiary Commissions 3 GW Solar Module Manufacturing Facility in Gujarat

Apr 07, 2026

Waaree Energies Limited has announced the commissioning of a major solar manufacturing facility through its wholly owned subsidiary, Sangam Solar One Private Limited, marking a significant expansion in its production capabilities.

The newly operational plant, located in Samakhiali-Kutch, Gujarat, consists of four solar module manufacturing lines, each with an annual capacity of 750 MW. This brings the total installed capacity at the facility to 3,000 MW (3 GW) per year, strengthening the company’s position in India’s solar manufacturing sector.

Operations at the facility officially commenced on April 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The development reflects Waaree’s continued focus on scaling domestic manufacturing to support the growing demand for solar modules driven by India’s renewable energy targets.

With this expansion, the company aims to contribute significantly to the country’s clean energy transition while enhancing its ability to serve both domestic and international markets.
