NISE and Attero Recycling Partner for Solar Panel Recycling and Clean Energy Innovations

Dr. Mohammad Rihan, Director General of the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Abhinav Mathur, Advisor to the Board at Attero Recycling Pvt. Ltd. The partnership aims to enhance sustainability in India’s renewable energy sector by advancing research and development in solar panel recycling.

As part of this collaboration, NISE and Attero plan to establish a research and test facility at the NISE campus to focus on innovations in lithium-ion battery and solar panel recycling. This initiative will contribute to building a stronger circular economy, addressing e-waste challenges, and supporting India’s clean energy transition.
