CleanMax to Deliver 50 MW Hybrid Renewable Power to Sangam India’s Rajasthan Units

Apr 16, 2026

CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions has entered into a strategic agreement with textile manufacturer Sangam India to provide a combined 50 MW wind-solar hybrid power solution across multiple facilities in Rajasthan. The project will integrate 30 MWp of solar capacity with 20 MW of wind energy, supported by a 2 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) to ensure consistent and reliable power supply. The energy will be sourced from CleanMax’s Bhikamkor hybrid plant under an intra-state group captive model.

Announced on April 15, 2026, the partnership is aimed at advancing sustainability initiatives and reducing carbon emissions across Sangam India’s operations in the state. CleanMax highlighted that the hybrid setup, combined with storage, will enable efficient round-the-clock energy delivery to five of Sangam’s manufacturing facilities.

CleanMax has been steadily expanding its renewable footprint in Rajasthan, with operational projects in regions such as Bhikamkor and Bikaner. As of March 31, 2026, the company has achieved an installed capacity of 525 MW in the state, catering to a wide range of industrial and corporate clients.

Speaking on the collaboration, Managing Director Kuldeep Jain emphasized that the move represents a significant step in CleanMax’s broader national growth strategy, particularly in key industrial regions. He noted that the partnership strengthens both the company’s geographic presence and its ability to offer reliable, continuous clean energy solutions.

S.R. Dakhera, Chief Financial Officer of Sangam India, stated that sustainability remains a core priority for the company as it expands its global footprint. He highlighted that integrating renewable energy into operations aligns with their vision of becoming a leading sustainable player in India’s textile sector. As a Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified organization, Sangam is actively working toward environmentally responsible manufacturing, and this partnership will support stable operations while accelerating its decarbonisation goals.

The initiative also reflects the supportive policy environment in Rajasthan, particularly under the Green Energy Open Access Regulations, 2025, which facilitate easier access to renewable energy and promote hybrid projects integrated with energy storage systems.
