ACME Platinum Urja Inks 25-Year PPA with SECI for 200 MW Solar Plus Storage Project
Nov 26, 2025
ACME Solar Holdings Ltd., through its subsidiary ACME Platinum Urja Pvt. Ltd., has finalized a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI Ltd. for a 200 MW solar project integrated with 100 MW/400 MWh of battery storage. The contracted tariff stands at INR 3.42 per unit.
This agreement completes the PPA framework for the 350 MW capacity awarded to ACME by SECI in July 2024. The company had previously executed a PPA for 150 MW in October 2024.
Under the terms, ACME Solar must achieve a capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 25–27% during solar hours. The project is also required to maintain a minimum 70% monthly availability and 85% annual availability during evening peak hours. The facility is expected to be commissioned by June 2027, with connectivity approvals already secured.
With this new signing, ACME Solar has locked in PPAs for 800 MW of contracted capacity this financial year, which includes 2,320 MWh of storage, raising its total PPA-signed portfolio to 5.38 GW.
The company currently operates 2,934 MW of contracted capacity, while another 4,456 MW, including 13.5 GWh of battery storage, is under construction.
