ACME Solar Holdings Limited Secures 301 MW FDRE Project from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for the development of a 301 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project under SECI’s FDRE Tranche VII programme.

The project will supply assured peak power in accordance with the provisions outlined in the Request for Selection (RFS). The tariff for the awarded capacity has been fixed at Rs 6.28 per unit. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will be valid for a period of 25 years from the date of signing.

As per the terms of the award, the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) is set at 24 months from the execution of the PPA. The project has been awarded to a domestic entity, and the company clarified that it does not fall under related party transactions. Additionally, no promoter or promoter group entities have any interest in SECI concerning this award.

The win further strengthens ACME Solar’s position in India’s evolving FDRE segment, which is focused on delivering reliable renewable power with assured supply during peak demand periods.
