Adani Energy Solutions to Deliver 60 MW of Green Power to RSWM, Boosting Renewable Share to 70 %
Nov 06, 2025
RSWM Ltd, the flagship textile company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has entered into an agreement with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) to source 60 MW of renewable energy, marking a major step toward its sustainability goals.
Under the partnership, AESL will oversee the entire renewable power value chain to meet RSWM’s additional green energy requirements. The textile major has invested INR 60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme, enabling the supply of 31.53 crore units of clean electricity annually to its manufacturing plants across Rajasthan.
This initiative will increase RSWM’s renewable energy share from 33% to nearly 70%, placing the company well ahead of India’s national average clean energy mix of 31%.
Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director & CEO of RSWM, stated,
“By sourcing 70 percent of our total energy from renewables, we are reaffirming our commitment to responsible energy transition and sustainable manufacturing.”
Kandarp Patel, CEO of Adani Energy Solutions, added,
“Our collaboration with RSWM highlights how renewable energy can drive industrial growth while ensuring sustainability. AESL is proud to support India’s decarbonisation goals through innovative green power solutions for the C&I sector.”
Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director of RSWM, further noted that with an equity investment of INR 260 crore, the project marks a milestone in the company’s sustainability journey — enhancing energy security, efficiency, and carbon reduction through hybrid power integration.
AESL’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) division currently provides customised clean energy solutions to large power consumers and aims to build a 7,000 MW portfolio over the next five years.
This collaboration positions RSWM as a frontrunner in India’s green industrial transformation, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable textile manufacturing.
