Alpex Solar Wins Rs 215.20 Crore Domestic Contract for Supply of High-Efficiency Modules

Alpex Solar, a manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules and solar energy systems, has secured a major domestic order valued at Rs215.20 crore, excluding GST, from an Indian industry player. The contract reinforces the company’s growing footprint in India’s renewable energy supply chain and underscores increasing demand for locally manufactured solar solutions.

The six-month contract covers the supply of high-efficiency solar modules for domestic projects and further strengthens Alpex Solar’s presence in the utility-scale and commercial solar segments. The order contributes meaningfully to the company’s order book and supports its continued expansion in the Indian market.

Commenting on the development, Ashwani Sehgal, Managing Director of Alpex Solar, said the contract represents a key milestone for the company. He noted that the order reflects rising confidence among large domestic customers in Alpex Solar’s manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and execution expertise, and reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting India’s clean energy transition through scalable and reliable solar technologies.

The latest order aligns with Alpex Solar’s long-term growth strategy, which focuses on expanding manufacturing capacity and deepening relationships with domestic customers across both commercial and large-scale renewable energy projects.

Alpex Solar currently operates multiple manufacturing facilities in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, offering an integrated portfolio that includes solar PV modules, solar cells, EPC services, solar pumping solutions, and aluminium frames. The company’s existing Greater Noida facility is slated for expansion, alongside plans to establish five additional manufacturing units across Greater Noida, Kosi-Kotwan in Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Construction activity is progressing rapidly at the Kosi-Kotwan facility, which forms a key part of Alpex Solar’s broader plan to scale up solar cell and module production capacity. This expansion is expected to enhance the company’s ability to meet growing domestic demand and contribute to India’s broader renewable energy and manufacturing objectives.
