Amar Infrastructure Secures SECI’s BoS Contract for 200 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh

Nov 11, 2025

Amar Infrastructure has emerged as the successful bidder in the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) Balance of System (BoS) tender for developing a 200 MW grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, under the CPSU Scheme Phase II, Tranche III.

The company’s winning bid is valued at approximately Rs 439.41 crore, covering the complete BoS scope for the large-scale solar installation. SECI had floated the tender in May 2025.

As per the tender requirements, the scope of work involves design, engineering, and supply (excluding PV modules), along with the unloading of owner-supplied modules, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar project. Amar Infrastructure will also be responsible for operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of five years following commissioning. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months.

This 200 MW development forms part of the Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme Phase II, which aims to deploy 12,000 MW of grid-connected solar capacity across India with viability gap funding (VGF) support to promote domestic manufacturing and self-reliant energy generation.

Earlier this year, in February 2025, Amara Raja had also secured SECI’s BoS package for a 300 MW solar PV project in Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh, reflecting the growing participation of Indian developers in large-scale renewable energy projects.
