Andhra Pradesh has drawn investment commitments totalling INR 5.2 lakh crore across renewable energy, green hydrogen, pumped storage, biofuels, manufacturing, and hybrid RE projects during the initial two days of the 30th CII Partnership Summit, according to state officials.
Energy Minister G. Ravi Kumar shared that these proposals have the potential to create more than 2.6 lakh jobs. On the first day alone, agreements worth INR 2.94 lakh crore—expected to generate nearly 70,000 jobs—were signed. The second day saw additional commitments exceeding INR 2.2 lakh crore, offering close to two lakh employment opportunities.
Kumar noted that the impressive response reflects strong investor confidence and reinforces Andhra Pradesh’s rise as one of India’s fastest-expanding centres for clean energy and green hydrogen.
Key officials, including Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and NREDCAP Vice Chairman & Managing Director M. Kamalakar Babu, were present during the exchange of MoUs.
