Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust Expands Portfolio, AUM Surges to Rs 6,552 Crore
Mar 17, 2026
Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust has significantly scaled up its assets under management (AUM), which have grown to approximately Rs 6,552 crore since its listing. This growth follows a successful capital raise and strategic acquisition of renewable energy assets.
The trust mobilised Rs 696.44 crore through a preferential issue, issuing over 5.95 crore units at Rs 117 per unit. The fundraising initiative is part of its broader plan to strengthen and diversify its energy infrastructure portfolio.
Utilising the proceeds along with additional debt financing, Anzen acquired 12 solar assets from Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus and its affiliates. The transaction, representing a 74% stake in these assets, carries an enterprise value of around Rs 2,520 crore.
With this acquisition, the trust’s portfolio has expanded to 15 assets spanning both transmission and solar energy segments as of the fourth quarter of FY26. This expansion reinforces its position as a growing platform in India’s energy infrastructure investment space.
The company stated that the move aligns with its long-term strategy of building a robust and high-quality asset base while generating stable returns for its unitholders. The preferential issue saw participation from both existing investors and new entrants, indicating strong confidence in the trust’s growth trajectory and the broader opportunities within India’s energy sector.
