Ashish Khanna to Lead Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL)

In a strategic leadership transition, Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced that its current CEO, Amit Singh, will step down from his position on March 31, 2025, to take on the role of CEO of Adani Group's International Energy Business.

From April 1, 2025, Ashish Khanna, presently the CEO of Adani's International Energy Business, will assume the role of CEO at AGEL, the company said in a statement.

Amit Singh, an experienced strategist and energy transition leader with extensive global expertise, will oversee the Group's expansion into international markets, focusing on high-growth regions like the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).He has worked across 12+ countries, positioning him as an ideal candidate to spearhead Adani’s global renewable energy ambitions.

With 30+ years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, project management, and contract management, Ashish Khanna brings robust expertise to lead AGEL.

His prior roles in India and abroad make him well-suited to continue AGEL’s legacy as India’s largest and one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, propelling the clean energy transition.
