Assam Approves Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2025 and Mega Industrial Park for Renewable Investments

The Assam Cabinet has approved the Assam Integrated Clean Energy Policy, 2025, aimed at boosting industrialization and fostering renewable energy investments in the state. Along with this, the government has allocated land for a mega industrial park to further strengthen Assam’s position as a key player in the renewable energy sector.

The policy is designed to promote sustainable energy solutions and attract both domestic and international investments in clean energy, aligning with Assam’s vision for a greener future. This step is seen as a crucial part of the state's growth strategy ahead of the Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, which is set to be held in Guwahati on February 25-26, 2025.
