Atirath Holdings to Invest INR 4,000 Crore in 25 CBG Plants Across Telangana
Dec 11, 2025
Atirath Holdings has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to invest nearly INR 4,000 crore for establishing 25 compressed biogas (CBG) plants in the state, each designed with a 20-tonne-per-day capacity.
The agreement was formalized during the Telangana Rising Global Summit at Bharat Future City, in the presence of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
As per the project plan, Napier grass will serve as the primary feedstock for all units, supporting a structured agricultural supply chain and generating significant rural employment across farming, logistics, harvesting, and plant operations.
This development follows a similar MoU the company signed with the Andhra Pradesh government last month for setting up 25 CBG plants of identical capacity involving an investment of INR 4,000 crore.
