Avaada Electro Earns Top-Tier Ranking in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Solar Module Assessment
Jan 10, 2026
Avaada Electro, the solar PV manufacturing arm of the Avaada Group, has been placed in the ‘Grade A’ category in Wood Mackenzie’s H1 2025 Global Solar Module Manufacturer Rankings, reinforcing its position as a financially strong and bankable supplier in the global solar value chain.
Wood Mackenzie’s assessment benchmarks leading crystalline silicon solar module manufacturers worldwide. Companies awarded Grade A status are recognised for consistent operational performance, solid financial fundamentals, and the ability to meet long-term supply commitments, according to the company.
The evaluation is based on a broad set of indicators, including capacity utilisation, technology readiness, ESG practices, third-party certifications, financial health, supply chain resilience, vertical integration, research and development intensity, and cumulative manufacturing experience. As a result, the Grade A classification is widely used by developers, investors, lenders, and procurement teams as a key reference for assessing supplier reliability and bankability across global solar markets.
Reacting to the recognition, Vineet Mittal, Chairman of the Avaada Group, said the ranking reflects the company’s sustained focus on quality, technology, and responsible manufacturing. He added that Avaada remains committed to strengthening domestic solar manufacturing while building globally competitive capabilities aligned with India’s clean energy ambitions and the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
Avaada Electro specialises in the production of N-Type TOPCon solar modules, which offer higher conversion efficiencies, enhanced durability, and improved performance across varying climatic conditions. The company currently operates 8.5 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity, with expansion plans underway to meet rising demand in both domestic and international markets.
The company also highlighted that its Nagpur manufacturing facility features high-speed, automated production lines supported by an advanced energy management system. With a takt time of just 16 seconds, the plant underscores Avaada Electro’s emphasis on precision manufacturing, scalability, and operational efficiency.
